The immobiliser

The immobiliser on the Peugeot is among the most effective security features. It is operated by the tiny glass chip that is inside the key to stop the vehicle from beginning. The system is based on complex code and does not require a battery. It checks the coding of the chip every time the key is inserted into the barrel of ignition.
